A ring light or LED video light gives your face even light, true skin tones and products without dark shadows hiding the details. Ring lights suit faces, make-up and talking to camera; square LED panels suit product shots on a desk because the light is broader and leaves no round reflection in the eyes. Check the diameter, whether brightness and colour temperature (cool to warm) are adjustable, mains or battery power, and stand height.
